Ceres Against Humanity

I wanted to create a dynamic and action-packed illustration that showcased the fluidity of Ceres's movement and fighting style. To accomplish this, I placed him in a confrontation against a new character, named Uriel, who was based on a childhood friend of mine. The character of Uriel represents humanity and the struggles one may face. I chose to depict the scene in a martial art that I am practiced, Brazilian Jiujitsu. The combination of Ceres's celestial power and Uriel's human vulnerability creates a visually striking contrast, and I believe it effectively conveys the theme of the piece. The use of martial arts as the backdrop for the illustration also adds an additional layer of realism and authenticity to the scene.
